Summer is hot this year and after Christina + Wesley's engagement session, the season just got a little hotter. These two native Floridians grew up in Lakeland and met while working at Publix (I love shopping there but who doesn't, right?). They quickly realized they had one super life-important thing in common...fishing. They LOVE fishing, with a passion. As we all know, good things come to those who bait (funny, not funny? Hey, I tried)...and after two years of friendship and flirting Christina decided to stop waiting and asked Wesley a question he could not refuse, will you take me fishing? She first set out to steal his fishing spots but he ended up stealing her heart. Hook line and sinker - the rest is history!
Earlier this year, they took a cruise to the Bahamas and sly, sly Wesley had it all set up. He was going to propose on this trip. He loves this woman and knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. After speaking with the ship photographers the plan was set. Christina was told to dress for a romantic dinner and as they came to the top of the main staircase for their "cruise ship photo" he got down on one knee, pulled out the Tiffany Blue Box and said the magic words. The best and worst part about the whole story is the fact that they had no phone service or any way to share the news with family and friends. The newly engaged couple got to spend the next two whole days reveling in the excitement and emotions of that moment, just the two of them. Not to mention, everyone on the ship knew who they were and congratulated them everywhere they went. How awesome is that?!
Planning their session was easy. They knew exactly what look they wanted and I knew the perfect place. Washington Oaks Garden in St. Augustine, FL. This place has it all. Giant oak trees, a rose garden, a lagoon, access to the Matanzas River and they have their own beach! Check out some of the fun we had and see how these two fish found each other in the giant sea of life.

Oh sweet, sweet love. We all want it. We all dream of it. We all look for it. Then you find it and after a little time it's like "whoa! I want to marry this person!" I recently had the pleasure of working with Peri as she was the maid of honor for one of our personal friends. So when I received a call from Brandon and he told me about his plans to propose to Peri, I was ecstatic. Who doesn’t love a good surprise especially when it involves people you know?
They met in 2013 while attending the University of Central Florida (Charge On!) and instantly became friends. As life tends to get in the way of love, law school required Brandon to move to Philadelphia but they remained in constant contact. In 2016, Brandon attended UCF’s alumni weekend celebrations and that is where he and Peri confessed their hearts to each other. Shortly after Peri graduated from UCF, she relocated to Philly to be with Brandon.
That brings us to the present. When Brandon felt it was time to ask Peri to spend the rest of their livers together he decided that it needed to happen somewhere special. Orlando is where they met and that is where he had to ask. Annual Disney trips have always been part of Brandon’s family so he decided that was the perfect place to begin their new life together. He told Peri he wanted to participate in the Disney Star Wars Half Marathon. After training for months the excuse of going to Orlando and staying at Disney was sold. Both of their parents came along to make it a family vacation because they knew what Brandon was up to.
Planning did not take long as Brandon already knew exactly where he wanted to ask Peri. A few phone calls, emails and text messages pieced together a game plan that was executed perfectly. On the proposal day I hid behind a tree and waited. As they walked to “dinner with family” at Disney Springs, Brandon told Peri, “Hey, I’ve got a question for you…” and got down on one knee. Peri instantly cried and threw her arms around Brandon in joy. It took her about a minute to speak but she finally said yes. We spent just a few minutes to capture some photos of them together before they headed off to celebrate with their family.Brandon didn’t let all that training go to waste either, he still participated in the half marathon the following day. Congratulations Brandon + Peri! We can’t wait to capture your wedding next year in Ft. Lauderdale!

Gaby + Tierra are two very special ladies and we are so excited to share their story! They met in 2013 while working at Busch Gardens. They became fast friends and supported each other through work stress, school stress, and heartbreaks. They were together all the time and talked about each other all the time. In 2016, finally, as all their friends and family would say, they decided it was time to make it official. It didn't take long after that, these two were head over heels for each other. Christmas Eve of 2017 Gaby had a very special gift in store for Tierra. The two lovebugs had finished opening presents from each other when Gaby told Tierra to close her eyes. When she was finally allowed to open them, Gaby was down on one knee and popped the question! Tierra instantly said yes and the rest is history.
The wedding was at a beautiful estate called Casa Lantana and it was splendid. The large home sits on a 12 acres and is just beautiful! It features many sprawling oak trees with spanish moss that shimmers in the sunlight, tall pine trees, open fields, a small barn, it's a dream! The weather stayed perfect throughout the day to support the beautiful union between Gaby and Tierra, cooling a little bit just in time for the big event. The ceremony was in front of a large oak tree with a hexagonal arch to frame the lovely couple. The ceremony was sweet and was sprinkled with laughter and happy tears. Even Issac the Casa Lantana house joined the fun!
The reception was on the front lawn in front of the estate home. White tables and chairs surrounded a wooden dance floor with market lighting hanging from the surrounding trees. Each table was had a beautiful red and white flower centerpiece, while the surrounding area was adorned with various flowers and decorations of the red and white. DJ Vic rocked the playlist and had the guests young and old dancing all evening long. The night ended with a fiery sparkler exit for Gaby and Tierra, just as the spark of their married lives is just getting started.

Sara + Eli are one of the sweetest couples we have met in a long time. These two met during their training at the police academy. They were constantly sneaking looks at each other and sometimes getting caught. After dating for two years, Eli decided it was time to ask. He proposed during a romantic dinner with just the two of them. As dessert was served, the words "Will you marry me?" were written on the plate and when Sara looked up Eli was down on one knee.
As a friends and family gathered we could tell that this was a very special day for everyone because of how much these people cared about Sara + Eli. They had a traditional Christian ceremony at their Trinity Lutheran Church. The blending of the sands was probably the most adorable because of the kids, but this is definitely one of the messier unity ceremonies (no complaints here!).
The best part about a wedding is of course the celebration that follows and boy did this group celebrate! The DJ had the dance floor packed playing everyone's requests and I couldn't believe it but most people still had their shoes on at the end of the night. It was like everyone dances like this all the time, no tired feet here! After some great times, drinks with friends and a little bit of cake smash (say it in your Hulk voice), this was the perfect wedding for Sara + Eli.

Whoever said chivalry is dead was dead wrong because it's what brought Jenna and Tyler together! On their first day of Optometry school Tyler held the door for Jenna and her parents as they entered the building. It was a simple gesture that made this Jersey Girl and Wisconsonite take a second look at each other. Soon after, as fate would have it, they sat next to each other in class and became two peas in a pod. After being together for about four and a half years and earning the name "Jyler", they finally decided to say “I do”.
The Omni Resort at Champions Hall was chosen for the wedding location. Jenna got ready in the penthouse suite with a deep reaching view of the golf course and the wide open Florida landscape. The mimosas were flowing and the laughs were plenty as Jenna and her ladies got ready. Tyler was in a nearby cabana suite doing what guys do; kicking it with his old football teammates eating wings and getting ready for the excitement to come.
The ceremony was on a small hill on the golf course with a beautiful lake sprawling behind it. The outdoor setting didn’t come without a few caveats though! The sun was shining and it was bright. So bright, that sungalsses were provided to guests. During the unity candle lighting the wind picked up causing some trouble and making for great laughs. At first, they could not light their candles but once they fixed that problem, they could not light the unity candle! The pastor in his quick thinking used his bible to block the wind for them and they successfully unified the candles. As the ceremony ended, the sun started setting and everything was basked in a beautiful yellow-orange hue which meant it was time for portraits!
The reception was just as beautiful with large glass windows peering into a beautiful banquet hall. Small birdcage centerpieces adorned the tables with wooden blocks painted with table numbers. Blush by Brandee Garr and Soundwave Entertainment really outdid themselves. As the party went on DJ Justin rocked the night out and the crowd was bursting with energy, dancing the entire time. Jenna and Tyler even got to try their hands at being DJ’s themselves playing on the mixing board! The night ended with Tyler's favorite song Poker Face by OAR and everyone launched decks of cards in the air. It was a fantastic end to a fantastic wedding, all for a fantastic couple. Cheers to Jenna and Tyler for many years to come!

Baleigh and Ryan are just two cute kids from the country who are in love and want to get married. Although the term "country" can be debated here in Central Florida, these two live on a few acres with some livestock and the groom drives a big tractor, so I'd say that classifies as "country."
From the beginning, Baleigh has been a very laid back bride who knew what she wanted; a fun, comfortable wedding with their closest friends and family and that is exactly what she got. Formal attire was not permitted, except for the bridal party, and all of the guests were instructed to come the way they are. They chose The Enchanting Barn which is a beautiful rustic-styled venue. This old equestrian barn has been updated with a second floor for the bride to get ready. The interior is lined with beautiful chandeliers and market lighting. The bar station is located just outside the barn right next to the outdoor dance floor.
The wedding day itself was perfect. Beautiful weather, great guests and even greater memories. Baleigh + Ryan are both easy on the eyes, a little shy and love each other to the moon and back. If there is one thing we know for sure, it is written in the stars that these two were meant to be.

We have known Katie + Sam for a few years now and they have always been one of those couples that make you say #couplesgoals. We were there when Sam proposed to Katie so it was no surprise when they asked us to also be their wedding photographers. Before they could even finish the question I said "YES!" and was jumping for joy.
They met back in 2009 at Katie's birthday party and after three months of texts and phone calls they finally started dating. In their time together they have accomplished many things, they have graduated high school and college, have two adorable fur-babies names Beau and Finley and followed their dreams to Dallas to pursue their careers. On their seven year anniversary, after their traditional pancake breakfast and a couples' massage at the Four Seasons Orlando, Sam popped the question. They dreamed of their wedding to be inviting for all of their friends and family to celebrate their love together and all of the love that surrounds them. Bring us to the present and here we are, the perfect wedding of Katie + Sam.
Wedding days are always filled with electric excitement but this one was off the charts. It's almost hard to explain the feelings everyone had, this day had been coming for a long time and it was finally here! They chose Noah's Event Venue in Lake Mary, Florida for all of the wedding festivities. Their Jewish ceremony was packed with elegance and tradition. Entertainment was provided by the live band Blonde Ambition and they brought their AAA game. I have experienced many Hora's and this was by far the most incredible one yet. Every single person was on their feet, dancing and cheering in celebration, I've never seen anything like it. This was by far one of the most incredible weddings our studio has photographed. Congratulations Katie + Sam!

To be in love like Kimberly and Miguel really is a special thing. It's that love you have when you find the yin to your yang. It was easy to see just how much they care for each other the first time we met them.
They decided to have their "I Do's" at the beautiful Enchanting Barn in Osteen, FL. If there is one thing I love about weddings it's when my couples choose to have a first look. There is something about a groom seeing his soon to be wife for the first time that makes us gooey inside. When it was time for Kimberly and Miguel to have their first look, his reaction says it all! A beautiful ceremony was followed by an unforgettable celebration. Valarie from All That Glitz made sure every detail was perfect and in its place, she really did an amazing job! Everyone danced the night away only stopping to refill their drinks and use the photo booth. I can admit, this was an fun and emotional wedding day for everyone as vows were read and dances were shared (I cried once...maybe twice) and this is definitely one wedding we will never forget.

5 Style Tips For Your Engagement Session
Engagement Sessions are a fun way to step back from the wedding planning and focus on each other. That is the reason we are here after all! The number one question we get from all couples is: What do we wear? Styling and fashion go hand in hand with great photos, so it's important to choose the right colors and most flattering clothing for you. One of our goals as your wedding photographer and expert is to make things easier for you. Here are 5 tips to help refine your style and look your best! |
1. Clothing: This is a big one as every person has a different body so choosing the right outfit can be hard. If you need a place to start, solid colors are your best friend. Stripes and busy patterns can draw attention away from your the most important part, your face with the exception of some prints. Avoid wearing large loose clothing, it will make your body look wider/larger than it is. Complementary colors look great and bring energy to the photograph but avoid neons. Darker colors can make you appear thinner while lighter colors can make you appear larger. Dark pants/jeans with dark shoes give texture and visually anchor a portrait. When choosing a color scheme, also consider what colors will look best on wall portraits and complement your home’s décor. |
Ladies, say yes to a dress for your engagement session! Thinking about a sequined gown or tulle skirt? Go for it! There is no such thing as "too dressed up" in this situation. A short sun or cocktail dress can give a more casual feel of "hey, we are on a date" as long as it isn't too short. Long dresses and skirts that flow can help add movement and beauty to any photograph. if you are self conscious about your arms, we recommend avoiding anything that has skinny straps or is strapless. Three-quarter sleeves create a beautiful slimming effect to all arms are are a great option. You can also try a cute jacket or cardigan. Jeans should be fitted and tops not too revealing. |
|
Guys, the options are a bit simpler for you. A man is always most striking in a well-tailored suit and if you don't own one, you can definitely rent one. While there is nothing wrong with looking like Justin Timberlake, David Beckham or George Clooney lets just face it, a suit is not always practical for Florida weather. Another totally acceptable and just as good-looking option is a pair of pants and a nice button down shirt. Your pants should not bunch up at your shoes and you should wear a belt. We also recommend scheduling a hair cut 3 days prior and scrubbing those nails clean. Never, ever, wear shorts |
2. Footwear: Avoid running shoes, white socks, and heavily worn footwear. Consider fashionable boots, sandals, high heels, loafers etc. Bare feet are always welcomed for very casual sessions. If your toes are showing then you might want to consider a pedicure. Tip: If you are going to wear any type of heels, bring a pair of flats/flip flops to wear when we are not shooting. You can thank us later! |
3. Accessories: Have fun with this but keep it to a minimum. Ties, bow ties, cool socks, belts, tie clips, suspenders, vests and watches are some great accessories for men with the exception of some hats. Flower crowns, bracelets and earrings are perfect for ladies. Big statement necklaces bring a lot of pop to the photo just make sure it's not too distracting. Your face is whats most important! Sorry guys, but for most shots cowboy or baseball hats are a no-no because we can't see your face. |
4. Hair and Make up: Having your hair and make-up done professionally not only makes you look and feel amazing but it also removes the stress of doing it all on your own. One great idea is scheduling your session on the same day as your wedding day hair and make up trial run. If you need a recommendation just ask! We work with tons of great professionals that you will love! It is always a great idea to bring hairspray, lipstick/gloss and powder for touch ups. Tip: Translucent powders work wonders with shine. |
5. Props: Props are always a great way to personalize your engagement session and the possibilities are endless. To figure out what works best for you, begin by considering what makes you unique as a couple. Is someone an avid guitar player? Consider bringing a guitar to include in some photographs. Love to read? Bring your favorite book or some with unique covers. You should also consider the session location. If it has a more vintage feel, maybe an old suitcase or chair would be appropriate. Chalkboards, signs, balloons, small bouquets and picnic baskets are also fun options. Even cars (yes, I said cars) can be a really cool prop to add in any photo, especially if its a classic or something thats been customized. Bring too many props and there is a good chance we might not use all of them! |
|
There are a lot of elements that go into creating a beautiful photograph. Be sure you have tied on your outfit(s) multiple times and see them both together so you can be confident knowing you will look great. What you choose to wear has to be comfortable! You don't want to be fidgeting the entire session so be sure to wear something you can move around in and lastly, something that makes you feel awesome! |

We are so excited about that baby bump. Why? Because that's our nephew in there! Baby Trippler is expected to arrive in mid-August 2018 and we have some work to do. Time to brush up on our nursery rhymes and monkey impersonation skills because we are going to be the "Favorite Aunt and Uncle." Just because we are the only Aunt and Uncle he has, doesn't mean we wont earn that title lol.
When the time came and Lori's bump was the perfect size, she was ready to take some maternity photos. We started on a Saturday afternoon at the beautiful Leu Gardens near downtown Orlando. The rose garden is the perfect setting for for any occasion. Then we headed over to Baldwin Park. There are areas around the lake that have wildflowers and overgrown grass that is perfect at the right time of the day. We are so honored to have been able to capture this special time in Bryan and Lori's lives and I will say it one more time with boasting pride, we are going to be an Aunt and Uncle! |

What more could you ask for on such a beautiful day at Mission Inn, a beautiful wedding of course! Surrounded by the beautiful Spanish Colonial architecture and a touch of modern elegance, it was very obvious why Megan and Van decided to get married here. Megan and her bridesmaids enjoyed the morning in her suite as Kristy's Artistry Design Team worked their make-up and hair magic. We headed to the bridal suite in the Plaza de las Palmas where they finished getting ready. Megan was stunning in her dress and her bouquet was the finishing touch. The bridesmaids matched perfectly in their gold sequin dresses. |
Van had quite the wedding day. Not only did these guys get to play a round of golf before the wedding, but they also played a few games of pool and even some Texas Hold'em. The guys wore blue suits and brown shoes to match with white rose boutineers. After watching a few instructional videos how to tie a bow tie, Van was dressed and ready to marry his bride. |
The ceremony was in the beautiful Plaza de la Fontana. Known for its grand fountain and the Spanish mission-style architecture, this was the perfect place to say "I Do." There were joyful tears and laughs as Megan and Van said their vows. With two kisses to make it official, their union was made official! |
Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Plaza de las Palmas before heading to La Hacienda for the reception. The tables had white and pink rose centerpieces with white linens and glass plates to add the perfect touch of class. The cake was simple with 3 tiers, white icing and roses. Van even added his love for fishing by naming each table after his favorite lakes. The first dance was perfect, their choreographed dance had dips, spins and included Van picking Megan up and spinning her around. The lessons they had taken made them look like pros! The sound of laughter and music filled the room as everyone celebrated this special day. |

It was beautiful day in February when Jasmin + Jim tied the knot. The flowers, details and romance couldn't have been more perfect. The ceremony was held at the St. James Cathedral located in the heart of downtown Orlando. Laughter and happy tears were shared during the ceremony and when they kissed, the cathedral roared with cheers. Just a few minutes away, guests enjoyed cocktails and hor d'oeuvres followed by the reception at the Ballroom at Church Street. Filled with stained glass red wood features this place has a ton of Orlando history. Mixed with the amber lighting, gold sequins and gold centerpieces with white roses, an atmosphere of elegance was created. Did I mention Jasmin's Aunt made their 4-tier cake? The night was incredible as everyone celebrated and danced the night away. Ending with a sparkler send off, the night was perfect. The memories that were made on this night will never be forgotten and one thing is for sure, these two were meant to be together.

A Surprise Proposal at Leu GardensRachel + Bryan |
Bryan was so excited when he contacted us about capturing his proposal to Rachel. As nervous as all guys can be during this time, he was absolutely sure about asking the big question at the beautiful Leu Gardens. The rose garden there is absolutely breathtaking and he decided it was the perfect setting. With the date set, he made plans with Rachel to have dinner but first wanted to take her to a rose garden he heard about at work. As they approached the rose garden, Bryan gave a small box to Rachel that contained a letter. After she finished the letter he gave her one last kiss and a big smile, he bent to one knee and said 5 words, "Rachel, will you marry me?" With their hearts pounding, a few tears and joy in the world, Rachel said yes! |

From the minute they arrived I knew it was going to be a very light and fun afternoon of shooting. They brought their fur-babies Conor and Daisy who are two of the happiest dogs I have ever met. They listened so well and were especially attentive when a giant turtle tried to climb into my camera bag! Lacey and Anthony on the other hand were practically supermodels. They have great chemistry and constantly smile at each other which makes their images burst with emotion. Such an amazing afternoon! |

They are truly adorable and their cute mushy love is contagious. So be warned, this highlight may induce warm fuzzies all over and a require you to hug the person you love most. Without further delay, enjoy some of the special moments we captured with Chelsea and Rollan. |
Jennifer and Chris couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day in April. The sun was shining and there wasn't a dark cloud in the sky. The girls began their morning at the Embassy Suites in downtown Orlando. Laughter and mimosas were flowing as everyone did their hair and make up. After some portraits with the bridesmaids, we were ready to leave for St. James Cathedral. |
Chris and the guys got ready at his best man's house, just a few minutes away from the church. Jennifer surprised Chris with a new beautiful Omega watch that matched perfectly with his white and black tux. Chris and the best man, Bobby, met through their love for golf so Bobby immortalized that memory by giving Chris a set of golf balls engraved with his nickname. The guys also received engraved flasks with mini bottles of their favorite liquor! |
Their Catholic ceremony was held at St. James Cathedral in downtown Orlando. As the procession started, everyone was in awe as their son, Charlie, who carried the rings down the aisle. Everyone was lined up and ready to go as the doors opened and Chris saw Jennifer for the first time. His response was one word, wow. Prayers were made in honor of the couple and the rings were blessed and exchanged. Jennifer and Chris shared communion and watched as their family and friends did the same. As they joined hands one last time, they kissed and were officially husband and wife! |
We stayed at the church for a few portraits before heading to the iconic downtown Winter Park. They say time flies when you are having fun and that was definitely the case. Before we knew it, formal portraits were done and it was time to celebrate the newlyweds! |
The reception was held at the historical Winter Park Farmer's Market. Caitlyn from Plan It Events made sure everything was in place and the room was stunning. Guests enjoyed delicious hor 'd'oeuvres and the signature cocktails, the Blushing Jentini and Mactini. How cute! The tables were numbered with photos from their childhood accompanied by centerpieces made from white carnations and candles. The guests enjoyed hand rolled cigars and some smiles in the photo booth as the night got going. The DJ took no time to fire up the dance floor and the even snuck in a Polka dance for Jennifer's grandmother. The evening ended with a "ribbons and bells" send off but not before the groomsmen added some decorations to the getaway car! |

Sarah + Chris"I love you to the moon and back" is the motto for these two and it couldn't be more true. Their love for science, space and most things nerdy is what brought Sarah + Chris to the Orlando Science Center for their wedding. It was an early start for the girls at the DoubleTree in downtown Orlando and you could feel the excitement as you entered the suite. Sarah was all smiles and filled with butterflies from the anticipation of seeing Chris at their first look. Before leaving the hotel, Sarah shared a precious moment with her dad as he saw her for the first time in her wedding dress. |
We met with Chris and the guys at the Orlando Science Center. Everyone laughed and shared stories as they got dressed and waited for Sarah to arrive. Since they are all huge fans of Dragon Ball Z, they wanted to do the signature team fighting pose of the Ginyu Force and boy did they nail it. In case you don't know what I mean, I attached an image for reference. No matter how much fun they were having, for Chris, every second felt like an hour. He was ready to see his bride! |
At the first look, Sarah paused for one last breath before seeing Chris for the first time. When he turned around they both flooded with smiles and Sarah added some tears. Moments like these remind us why we love our job! After a few quick portraits everyone was ready for the ceremony. |
The ceremony was short and sweet with a ton of laughs and smiles. As Sarah and Chris stood together hand in hand, it was obvious these two were meant to be. They had a kiss to seal the deal and they were declared husband and wife! |
The reception was held on the 4th floor balcony with a gorgeous view of downtown Orlando in the distance. The reception decor was beautiful. Copper colored cans filled with willow branches were surrounded by green moss and baby's breath for the centerpieces. The cake sat upon a wooden log engraved with "Sarah + Chris" inside a heart. Guests took their seats as the sun began to set. Blue up-lights and market lighting set the stage for what was going to be one heck of a party. The Dj had a few tricks up his sleeve by showing some magic during dinner and the music he played kept the dance floor packed. A conga line led by the flower girl took every guest by the bar for a shot of Fireball! We even had time to sneak the Sarah + Chris away for a few more photos and boy was it worth it. Congratulations to Sarah + Chris! Thank you for letting us capture your special day! |

Leah + Nathan
It was almost one year to the date when we last saw Leah + Nathan at their engagement session on Park Avenue in Winter Park, FL. This time it was their wedding day at The Royal Crest Room in St. Cloud, FL. The girls started their day off right with laughter and mimosa's at Daniela's Hair Studio before heading off to the venue.
We met up with Nathan and the guys at Royal Crest Room and they were having just as much fun as the girls, all great signs for a perfect wedding day.
|
They met at the stone bridge for a private first look before the ceremony. Just as we wrapped up portraits, the bridal party arrived on queue for their turn with the bride and groom. We had so much fun with this group as everyone had a joke to crack!
|
It was finally time for the ceremony. Leah was escorted by her Grandfather which was a tender moment for all. After their vows and blending of the sands, Leah + Nathan were pronounced man and wife!
|
At the reception, the sunset was so beautiful that we had to sneak them out for just one more photo. Sweet moments were shared with the toasts followed by dancing that lasted the entire evening. Some people will probably need new dancing shoes!
|
Guests lined up outside blowing bubbles in the air as Leah + Nathan stopped for one last kiss. But what is perfect without a little fun, right? Family members decorated their get away car and played a little prank on the newlyweds. As Nathan started the engine, confetti filled the car and after a short pause everyone was laughing. Leah + Nathan said one last goodbye and drove away as everyone cheered. What an amazing night!

We want to give a big congratulations to Leah + Nathan from the STS crew. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day and we look forward to working with you in the years to come! - Elena, Mandy, Kevin, and Gabe

Live footage from their performance of "I AM THE ENEMY" at House of Blues in Orlando, Fl.
Sepultura is on tour promoting their new album Machine Messiah and we were fortunate enough to work with them as they made their way to House of Blues in Orlando, Fl. As soon as the band walked on stage and gave a quick smile to the roaring fans, they got right to it. Their performance was everything a metal die hard could ask for with relentless vocals paired with in your face guitar and bass riffs backed with one of the fastest technical drummers I've ever seen. |
Huge thanks to Andreas, Derrick, Eloy, and Paulo, who put on an amazing show along with their manager Jeramie Kling and Frank Hessing with MusiConsult.

This perfect day started with a relaxing morning at the Double Tree hotel in East Orlando. Joined by her best friends and sister, Elyssa, began her preparations to meet Charles at the alter.
What you may not know is that this couple shares a huge passion for music. They have traveled all over the state to see their favorite bands perform. The band 311 even played a roll in this wedding and was a driving force for the date they chose to exchange their vows 3-11-17. So it was only fitting for Charles to start his day off with some his favorite vinyl.
Not long after the guys shared a few laughs and wrapped up portraits with Johnny, it was time to head to the ceremony and join his bride.
Their ceremony had a beautiful pond as a backdrop and shade keeping the guests smiling as this day just couldn't be any more perfect.
And their forever begins....
After the formal portraiture was completed the guests who were enjoying cocktail hour gathered for 1 special group photo.
The mother of the bride saved every rose pedal from her garden for an entire year leading up to the big day just for this image. As the newlyweds shared a kiss encircled by their loved ones everyone threw handfuls of rose pedals creating a perfect moment!
Their first dance was full of smiles, snuggles, and sweet kisses that melted our hearts. Needless to say there were a lot of happy tears flowing at this point and soon the momentum began to shift as the night came in and the lights fired up.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful meal provided by 4 Rivers BBQ while stories of how everyone knew Elyssa and Charles were shared. This space had a perfect balance with the splash of Tiffany blue colored up lights and the warm glow of the market lighting in and outside of the tented area as you can see for yourself!
Toasts were shared by the best man and maid of honor before the party turned into high gear.
Life is always better when you share these special moments with your besties and these girls have known each other for a lifetime!
There is no question this crew knows how to party!
We love you guys and wish you the best as you begin your adventure together!

It was the perfect day at one of our favorite venues for a weddings, The Royal Crest Room. The newlyweds Jessica and Matt exchanged vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony finished by a golden sunset. There was no shortage of sparkle or glam in the reception as it's clear Jessica left no detail out. From the antique chic decor that complimented the vintage palate of floral arrangements to the beautiful swag draping, custom gobo, and lighting (by Meister Productions). And finishing the night off we had a blast in the photo booth with the entire bridal party and every guest. Needless to say we were honored to be part of Jessica and Matt's dream wedding!

Ride along with Elena as she photographs both offices for dbKMNS Law firm.
For this client we were asked to replicate a previous headshot taken by another photographer who no longer lives in the area. With the challenge of reverse engineering the existing lighting pattern she was able to hit the mark.
The second challenge she faced was using a green screen backdrop and using images of the Orlando office to seamlessly match the Tampa office for use on their website and maintain a consistent look.

]]>After doing a quick double take with a huge smile I immediately reached out for a hug! WOW - Sam's going to get engaged! This is awesome!
So with a little planning and a lot of bad cover up stories the stage was set for a massage at the four seasons followed by the big moment! Sam had taken all the steps to make sure his bride to be would be pampered from head to toe before the big moment. Shortly after their massages ended she walked out onto the Spa Terrace to see Sam surrounded by candle light with a twilight lake view backdrop. This was the perfect moment for him to drop down on bended knee and ask Katie to be his wife... and she SAID YES!
We can't be more elated to see this amazing couple take the next step and we're going to make sure to capture all the moments along the way!
]]>Meghan and Rich are one of the most relaxed couples we’ve ever worked with. Rich and his groomsmen got ready at his parents’ house while Meghan and her girls spent the morning at The Westin in Lake Mary. For Meghan’s mom, emotions were riding high that day because her baby girl was finally getting married. All Meghan had to do was look at her mom and she would cry tears of joy, thank goodness for waterproof mascara!
Their love story began years ago while Rich was at the Police Academy. Every day during lunch Rich and his buddies went to the local restaurant where Meghan worked and instantly these two were drawn towards each other. After endless conversations and flirty exchanges, Rich finally asked Meghan on a date which has led us to here. Their wedding was held at the beautiful Lake Mary Events Center in Lake Mary, FL. Meghan is an Ohio Buckeye fan and Rich is a Georgia Bulldog fan so it was easy to choose a red, black and white theme for their wedding. |
Red roses and white calla lilies filled her bouquet with a buckeye to top it off. Bling of course was an essential head to toe accessory for Meghan. Rich wore a black suit with a matching red tie and red rose boutonniere. The ceremony was held in the Rotunda, little décor is needed for this beautiful room surrounded by windows. The sound of cheering and applause roared as they made their first kiss as man and wife.

If you are looking for a simple yet chic barn wedding then look no further. Julia + Patrick had their dream wedding at the beautiful Walnut Hill Farm in Dalton, GA.
Julia and my younger sister have been friends their entire lives so it was quite an honor when she asked us to photograph her wedding. Julia is a graduate of UCF and was part of their cheer program when she began tryouts for USA Cheer and met Patrick. They were instantly drawn towards each other and have been together ever since.
|
|
Just before the ceremony, Julia and Patrick touched hands around a door to calm their excited nerves and share a few sweet words before they met each other again at the altar. It was an emotional ceremony for everyone when they had their first kiss as man and wife and became The Millers. Being the hardcore cheerleaders they are, it was only natural to perform a few lifts and flips with their fellow cheerleaders after the ceremony. |
|
|
|
The reception was beautiful. The ceiling was draped with swag and the room was splashed with soft pink lighting. The tables were dressed with hydrangeas and fairy lights creating a simple yet intimate setting. Julia, who was raised as a Florida Gator fan, surprised everyone including Patrick with a groom cake themed to his college, University of Alabama. The photo booth was a hit creating fun, everlasting memories for all of the guests. A wish lantern send off signaled the end of the night creating a romantic ending to an amazing day. From the country-style dinner, outdoor fire pit and wish-lanterns to end the night, it was a picture perfect day for everyone. |
|
The reception was over but the celebrating was not. The barn had a living space that sleeps 15 people so everyone headed upstairs to continue the fun. Scott and I decided to take advantage of the countryside and the absence of light pollution to do some nighttime photography and took a 2:00am walk around the property. The fire flies lighting the trees were absolutely amazing! This was one of our favorite photos from our walk and we couldn't resist making it a special edit for Julia + Patrick. |
]]>
The bridal party was chic, dressed in classic black suits and dresses. Excitement filled the air as they gathered to watch the first look. Surrounded by large archways, staircases and a fountain, beautiful is not enough to describe this moment. |
The ceremony was elegant with the aisle lined with white rose pedals and 5’ candelabra’s dressed with branches and flowers. Family and friends came from all over to see Ben break the glass underneath their Chuppa adorned with hydrangeas. Mazel tov! |
The reception began with a romantic first dance, followed by dinner and toasts. VoxBlu had the dance floor packed the entire night with their amazing cover songs. Nothing signals the end of a good wedding like confetti cannons and a group photo. Needless to say this is a night all of their guests will remember. |

Not many grooms can say they started their wedding day playing golf, then while wearing your tux reel in a large mouth bass after lunch, and get to marry your best friend all before sundown.. unless you are Mark Woodford! Let me not get ahead of myself.
We met Jacqui at a bridal show then later found out she was she works with Disney brides everyday so we knew she had a very educated eye and lots of great plans for a beautiful wedding. We decided on doing their engagement photo session at downtown Celebration and ending our shoot checking off one of Jacqui's to-do lists - Play in the fountain. It was at that point we started to realize this couple was going to be a lot of fun at their wedding. Now let's fast forward to their wedding..
After all the preparations were done the girls made their way to the Grand Floridan hotel for some photos while the guys headed to downtown celebration for their portraits. (This is where the fishing came in) as we are taking some fun shots with all the guys a fisher man runs over and throws a pole into Mark's hands yelling go-go-go! Sure enough he set the hook and pulled in a big one with a little help from the ring bearer and his soon to be brother-in-law. (Seriously this isn't a story about the one who got away, scroll to the bottom of this post to see the photo)
Shortly after we all met back at the ceremony venue and enjoyed a the catholic mass and captured every detail of the vows they exchanged. After the ceremony and formal pictures wrapped up we were off to Heaven's Event center. We were really looking forward to the celebration as we had high expectations for a lot of sweet dance moves some of the guys had been bragging about all day. What we didn't know is that they also had a few surprises in store, one of which Mark with the support of his groomsmen serenaded Jacqui in the middle of the dance floor singing my girl. By this time the party was in full swing and Matt and Carey had the entire room combined into one massive conga line! The rest of the night flew by like a blur with nonstop dancing and a few speeches that were very touching. Before the night concluded Mark filled us in on the groom cake and his slight obsession with ketchup which was the last piece to the puzzle.
We wish Jacqui and Mark both the best of luck for a happy and long marriage and are very excited to be working on their feature film which will be added to the blog upon completion.
We were honored to provide Photography, Videography, and Photo Booth.

See I told you we weren't joking about MARK WOODFORD's ultimate day of Golf-Fishing-Getting Married!
]]>
Then we got a double dose of emotions when it was time for the toasts given by family and life long friends. One of the groomsmen shared a story of how Seth had touched his life and made him a better person by always being their to support him and help him through some tough times he even showed even showed a handwritten card Seth had given him from back in college that he had held onto all these years.
Not long after dinner was wrapped up Matt and Carey from Zohler-Soble Entertainment got the celebration going full speed ahead! They had a great mix of music that slowly built up from the slow dances to an all out packed dance floor with the microphone being passed around as everyone rapped to one of Seth's favorite songs by Big Poppa!
Needless to say it was an absolute honor to create memories of their engagement and capture their wedding, we look forward to watching the marriage flourish!

Roma & Hector's wedding ceremony was held yesterday at the Sweatwater Country Club. Their formal photos were some of the most fun I've ever had, after a few holes and driving around on golf carts I realized we had created a ton of breath taking images! We used every second of the time we had planned and I can't wait for them to see how many great wonderful images we created in such a short timeline.

The day has finally arrived for Tim & Lisa and it was absolutely perfect! Starting with a few Mimosa's as the ladies had their hair and makeup done, followed by a beautiful service at the Annunciation Catholic Church and concluded with an high energy reception at the downtown Orlando Sheraton. It was one of the best weddings I've ever been a part of and I must thank MJ from Junction88 who had the entire dance floor moving from start to finish!

Another great couple that I'm very excited to work with, Ray & Becky! This couple are the people you feel good just being around, they both wanted to do an engagement session that fit around their busy work schedules and they wanted decided an indoor portrait session would be perfect. It wasn't long after the lights turned on that the smiles and laughter started. I can't wait for their two part ceremony with a Hindu ceremony and an American Reception the following.

Pam + Jimmy tied the knot in Micanopy Florida at a ranch. This was the first wedding held at the Calhoun farm and this was a great rustic setting for this couple with everything from hay bails and a corn isle way.
|
|
Here is some of the fun that took place in the photo booth at Pam & Jimmy's wedding. There photo booth was themed to match the rest of the wedding, it included bails of hay, pumpkins, and other decorations making it really fit the entire feeling of the one of a kind wedding! |

Congratulations go out to Sarah & Charles on their recent engagement! Sarah wanted to do something a little different and chose to center their engagement photos around the train tracks that run through downtown Orlando. Our shoot started later in the afternoon with some beautiful weather we were ready to make some great images! She mentioned that she is a ballerina so insisted she bring her Tu Tu and do a few Ballet positions! These two were nonstop smiles from start to finish... Sarah & Charles—you guys rock!! Thank you for such an awesome shoot!
This wedding was suppose to be a nice quiet ceremony with close family and friends, but they managed to turn it up a notch at the reception. Including an acapella sang by the brides sister, classic dance songs, the DJ had everyone moving all night. |
